"Kasey. Space-Kase. Special K... But mostly just Kasey Bryan Andrews. I slap the bass for The Quarter Club and I just turned twenty-three. I'm from Ohio, which is a state that is best known for Lebron James and it's status as a swing state in most elections. Yep. You learn something new everyday. Anyways, I'm pretty much a mutt as far as my 'heritage', but I guess there's something strong and Irish in me. In case you can't tell. I have red hair. See?" "RIGHT RIGHT, SORRY. SO TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF." "I think the first thing people find out about me is my never-ending love for Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake. What can I say? I love Justins'. Uhm, I just feel like they're both just sooo amazing, and I can't help but be a fan. Ahaha, no, actually most people notice that I'm a sarcastic jokester with a suave, lady-loving interior, I like to get down -- you know, party. But at the same time I can roll with the slow jams and just chill with people. I like to play pranks on people, but I know where the line is, mostly because I live on that line. That line is my best friend. I tend to just throw myself into anything, whole-heartedly, and when or if it falls apart, it breaks my heart and my spirit and then I go crazy and I party hard and then I find something else to be obsessed with. It's my cycle. I like to think I'm the life of the party, but most of the time I'm just a loveable spazzy jerk. " "INTERESTING! WHERE WAS IT THAT YOU SAID YOU COME FROM?" "Ohio! Ohio is for lovers! More importantly, I'm from Columbus. I had one older brother and sister and one little sister. So it went boy-girl-boy-girl, which I've heard is really strange. But anyways, I have Hunter and Lilly and then me, and then Sloan. Sloan's the best, she's only fifteen, but she's such a fun kid. I ended up with my dad's sense of humor, he thought he could be a professional comedian at some point, but then he met my mom and had a million babies and that sort of got pushed aside for a career as a car salesman. Turns out, having a good sense of humor is a valuable thing when you're a car salesman. He does alright for himself. My mom...she basically stayed home and raised us until I was five and then she went to work. She is a hair stylist. Hunter was my idol when I was growing up, he was so calm and rational and smart all the time. I was diagnosed with ADD when I was eight and they tried medications and all that but when I was thirteen, someone put a guitar in my hands and it was love at first sight. Or play. Or whatever. So my dad, who always felt like he never got to live his dreams, always pushed me to be in this band or that band and thats how I met the guys and things just sort of happened. The rest is history, man." "WOW. SO WHAT IS A DAY IN THE LIFE OF YOU LIKE?" "I wake up. I drink all of Quincy's orange juice because it pisses him off. Then I shower. I only use Suave. Because I believe it will one day make me suave. Usually I get dressed. Sometimes I don't. Then I work my ass off, practice and then I party and then I pass out and do it all over again. I mean, there's different days when there's shows and shit, and obviously it's not the same thing every day. Sometimes -- I get laid. Those are the best days. Seriously." "NICE. LAST QUESTION... WHY ARE YOU WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW AND WHAT DOES THE FUTURE LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?" "I am where I am because I work hard, and I maintain a positive attitude. I have bad days, just like everyone else, but I try to remain positive and professional. Also, because I have the best friends in the world, and they just happen to be in the same band with me. There are some people that move in and out of your life, but not these guys. Some of us come from big families, and we know how important being close can be when it comes to bands and creative things and we try to give each other as much positive feedback as we can. We understand each other because we're all from the same place, you know? As for the future, there's an album in the workings and a tour, until then we're just...we're preparing and we're excited about the future." "ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO ADD?" "You -- look like a pedophile. Like a gay one. I'm just saying, you know...maybe the sideburns are too much. Okay, I'll shut up now." hey there, the name's tess. i live in the mountain time zone and this is my first character. |
