[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style, background-color: #423c42;,true][cs=2] & YOU'RE NOT EVEN HUMAN ` YOU'RE JUST A LOVELY IDEA OF ONE WHO I ACCIDENTALLY LOVED AND GAVE EVERYTHING TO BECOME THE GIRL ON THE PIANO BENCH SINGING ALL OF HER TEARS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - away | [atrb=width,240] chrys only wanted to have a bit of fun today. could anyone really blame her, though? she'd been cooped up for practically days with nothing to do but sit there and drink any alcohol left in the area. she needed to have fun, and fast, or else she might spontaneously combust. and that definitely wouldn't be good seeing as the band needed her stupid ass to play the guitar and give their music a little bit more variety with the vocals.
she didn't have an alarm clock, and she didn't really need one either. she'd always wake up as soon as the sun ripped through her eyelids and intruded on her dreams (or, more commonly known to chrys: nightmares). chrys had had nightmares ever since the day her brother (whose name won't be mentioned until she could muster up enough courage to let it enter her thoughts) was killed in a car crash. they stopped her from getting the same amount of sleep as she used to, and they made it hard to ever dream of a night without them. because of these nightmares, she was used to using a teddy bear for support whenever she slept alone, or really, whenever she just needed someone and no one was there - nightmares or not. the teddy bear's name was teddy valentine, and it was given to her by her brother on valentine's day when she was left with no valentine. he took her to a carnival to cheer her up, and won her the teddy bear. she'd kept it ever since. it was like a replacement when she lost him. but it was never enough.
once the sun woke her up, chrys stumbled out of bed, her hair a mess and her over-sized tank-top crooked. chrys groaned, placing her hand on her forehead to stop the growing headache from getting any worse. her room was a mess, just like the rest of her apartment, really. she never made her bed, and so it was covered in blankets, clothes, and pillows. her dresser had clothes hanging out of the open drawers, and her floor was also covered with a plethora of clothes, shoes, accessories, magazines, trinkets, etc. she was usually a pretty messy person, and really only cleaned when she had nothing else better to do and actually had enough motivation to do so. which was almost never. well, that's not true; she always cleaned up before someone came over, but wouldn't clean up again until someone else came over. usually they were only different guys she was sleeping with, and sometimes they were band mates and friends trying to get her up out of bed during one of her hangovers.
chrys ate a bowl of lucky charms - her favorite - and afterwords went into the bathroom and brushed her teeth. (and for those wondering, it wasn't with a bottle of jack.) she took a quick shower, drying herself off and getting dressed once she was done bathing. she wore another over-sized tank-top (this time, a van halen one), matching golden shorts, and a bra underneath her tank-top to keep from flashing innocent passersby. after, she dried her hair using her cherry red blow-dryer and didn't bother brushing it afterwords or anything. she put in one blue feather earring in her left ear and then worked on her eye make-up, which consisted of black eyeliner, black eyeshadow, and black mascara. (what a variety, right?) once she was all ready, she put on her black high-top converse and grabbed her phone and some money, shoving both into her pockets.
she had no idea where she was going to go, so she just let her feet take her wherever, which ended up being universal studios, which she took a bus to get to. chrys automatically had a smile spread across her face once she saw she place, feeling a little giddy to ride the rides and such. as she got off of the bus, she realized that she probably should have called someone and invited them to join her, seeing as it would be a whole lot more fun if she had some company with her.
however, she had no idea who she could possible invite with her that would be willing to come with her and possibly take care of her if she happened to get her hands on some alcohol...
chrys started looking around, trying to decide what she wanted to do first. universal studios was so big, she had no idea where to start. it was so insa - wait a minute. chrys got an idea, and began to wonder how long it would take her to ride every ride here...
and as she was looking around and thinking, she stumbled on an empty water bottle, stepping right on it and losing her footing. her arms flew out to catch herself and save herself from the hard fall that was bound to happen - but instead, she stumbled and landed in the arms of a tall, skinny boy. she looked up to identify her savior, and met face to face with parker gallagher, a very shy yet cute boy with shaggy brunette hair and a freckled face. chrys smiled, her pearly whites dazzling; she knew exactly who this boy was, and his company would make this whole day all the more interesting. | [atrb=width,140] words ,

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://www.swimchick.net/resources/stock/ls1.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] parker wasn't exactly the adventurous type. he liked to stick to his schedule, which usually consisted of band practice, homework time, and some 30 rock in between it all to satisfy his addiction to tina fey. he was pretty set with this routine, because after all, his life was extremely busy and had been ever since the band made it big. he was grateful that it did of course - if it wasn't for nate hurst starting wolves and foxes, he wouldn't have the money to pay for his tuition, or the experiences that he had gained ever since. today was a little different though, and he could feel it in his bones that it was going to be a hell of a day the moment he woke up. it wasn't like the blonde to wake up in bad moods, but he had gone to bed angry after getting into an argument with his older brother - something they hadn't gotten into since they were children. parker was big on family, and big on relationships with people, and fighting with his brother had made his stomach twist into knots that he didn't know were possible. when parker woke to the blaring of his alarm clock, he decided to take a personal day from all responsibilities to focus on himself, something he needed to do after any kind of altercation with someone he cared about. that was just like parker, to run away from his problems so that he didn't have to deal with any more altercation. his choices were a little limited, as he wanted to avoid his brother and his bandmates while he was playing hookie from practice and family commitments. he was too worried he'd run into them on the beach, and he searched his brain for somewhere to go to cheer up while he fixed his toast, which had burned in the toaster - just his luck. as he walked around his apartment, doing all of his morning chores before leaving the house, he realized that he had never checked out the theme parks in california, despite living here for a few months now. his family had taken a vacation to disneyland when he was seven, but other than that, he hadn't been on an amusement ride since. "i'm gonna ride a rollercoaster." he thought out loud, searching his apartment for the sunscreen he knew he had purchased for the last tour. he was determined to forget all about the fight he had gotten into, and have a good day, despite the circumstances. parker fed his turtles and then was off, hoping he could find parking on such a nice and sunny day like today. he entered the park, and his mood soared as he realized that he really was in a giant playground. he spent the first half of the morning simply walking around, making casual chit-chat with people, enjoying the atmosphere. he found himself spoiling himself and buying a bag of cotton candy, something he hadn't had since he was a small child. he continued to walk around, searching for that rollercoaster that he just knew he had seen ten minutes earlier, before he was destracted by the spun sugar for sale a few lots away. his eyes were focused on the ride when he felt something fall onto him, and as he looked down he realized that chrys wolfeheart had just literally fell for him. he grabbed her by the elbows and helped her regain her balance, then leaned over to pick up the water bottle that she had just tripped over. "and this is why people shouldn't litter..." he joked, tossing the bottle to a recycling bin a few feet away, grinning as he actually made the shot - it would have been extremely embarrassing had it bounced back out. a quick moment later his focus was back on chrys, the cute blonde guitarist that he had met a few times through the industry. he smiled at her, hoping she wasn't embarrassed by her tumble, and opened his arms to offer her a hug. "small world, eh?" he commented, smothering her in a bear hug while he looked around her, hoping no jealous boyfriend would pop up out of nowhere and ruin his newlyfound good mood. he had to admit that he always had a soft spot for her, not just because she was absolutely beautiful but because she was a free spirit as well, someone who wasn't uptight, who understood the need to be a free spirit. he had always envied that about her. he removed his arms from around her and took a small step back, standing close enough to let her know that he didn't really have anything better to do, and that he wanted to talk to her a little more. "what brings you here today?" he inquired, eyes flicking back to her as he realized that there was no beefy boyfriend in sight. 824 WORDS / SORRY THIS SUCKS |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style, background-color: #423c42;,true][cs=2] & YOU'RE NOT EVEN HUMAN ` YOU'RE JUST A LOVELY IDEA OF ONE WHO I ACCIDENTALLY LOVED AND GAVE EVERYTHING TO BECOME THE GIRL ON THE PIANO BENCH SINGING ALL OF HER TEARS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - away | [atrb=width,240] parker helped to lift chrys up and she smiled a little bigger; this boy was always so sweet to her. she wasn't really sure why, but she didn't question it. it was incredibly sweet and much appreciated how much he adored her. her picked up the empty water bottle and threw it into the recycling bin. he then brought his attention back to her, smiling. she wasn't really all that embarrassed about tripping. she'd done much more embarrassing things than that, and it wasn't even that bad. so she tripped, at least someone was there to catch her from falling flat on her face. now that would have been embarrassing. but parker was there and he caught her, and he wasn't even making fun of her for it like most people would. hell, they probably would have even jumped back, letting her finish her face plant to the ground. but no, not parker.
but then, maybe she was making him seem like a little too much of a hero. he'd just stopped her from falling on her face, not stopped some freak from stabbing her to death.
his arms were held open, and before she even really had a choice, he had pulled her into a big bear hug, squeezing her and just being so affectionate. she didn't much mind at all. she loved the cutesy attention like this. it just made her beam and really boosted her self-confidence. (not like she really needed any more of that, seeing as she was always having guys throwing themselves at her and trying to get into her pants.) parker wasn't like those boys, though. he was more of a sweetly physical boy than a sexually physical boy - but then, who knows, he could actually be coming at a different angle with this and trying to be sweet to get into her pants. no one had ever done that before, made her smile without commenting on her nice rack.
he asked her why she was here, but she couldn't really come up with any real reason. she was bored, really. she'd been stuck in her apartment for days and just needed to get out and get some fresh air. would that make her sound like a hermit or something? whatever, he'd adore her no matter what. "oh, you know. just hanging out. needed some company and my walls aren't very sociable." she scrunched up her face.
"how about you, parkerboy? what are you doing here?" she poked him in the side when she said 'you.' the boy was so tall compared to her. chrys had never really been a tall girl, but she didn't find the need to complain about it. tall girls had a hard time finding boys taller than them, and all the guys chrys had been with liked being taller than her - they felt like more of a man or something. (chrys had learned that men like to be reminded that they're men, and especially love it when you tell them that they're in charge. chrys didn't really care who was in charge, though. with parker, she'd probably be in charge - he was too sweet to take control, wasn't he?)
"you know, it feels like it's been a while since i've seen you. what have you been up to lately, sweetness?" she liked to call him pet names like that. she wasn't quite sure why, as she didn't really use pet names with anyone else. but to her, parker was like a little puppy - which, actually, she sometimes referred to him as one, whether it was parker the puppy or just puppy. however, it didn't seem as if parker really had much of a problem with it, so she kept addressing him as different cutesy names like sweetheart, sweetie, sweetness, honey, hun, love, darling, cupcake, parkerbear, etc. if she thought about it too much, she felt stupid and as if she were babying him, but still, he didn't complain about it or flat-out tell her to stop - but even if he did, she probably still wouldn't stop, or maybe she might make an attempt to cut back but "accidentally" slip up every once in a while. plus, parker was too nice to tell her to cut it out, so if her ever did tell her to stop, he'd say it in the kindest way possible in then she'd have to stop or else she'd feel guilty otherwise.
so maybe she had a soft spot for parker, but who could really blame her? she had no reason not to enjoy his company; he never bad-mouthed her or treated her like shit because she liked to drink and fool around or anything. he never judged her, he was also so nice and caring to her, and he'd probably defend her if anyone ever talked shit about her. there were plenty of reasons as to why she adored parker. he adored her back, and that was a wonderful feeling. | [atrb=width,140] words ,
