[atrb=style, width: 435px; height: 600px; background-image: url(http://i53.tinypic.com/11ah8as.jpg) ;] keep your hopes up high. as the sun started to make its descent, jaimie leaned back against the horse she had been standing with for almost three hours now. she had signed a contract to model for dover riding equipment and apparel and they had been holding this photoshoot on the beach for what seemed like forever. jaimie was bored out of her mind and it was apparent to her that she wasn't the only one. her gelding was playing with her hair and the collar of her shirt, his lips and whiskers tickling the back of her neck. she giggled and pulled his nose down to her face, kissing him and stroking his velvet-smooth face. finally, she was done for the day and she instantly began unbuttoning the long-sleeved dress shirt to reveal her bikini top underneath. there was no way in hell she was staying in these clothes and she was going to stay at the beach at least for a bit. she had someone hold her horse as she ran off to the temporary tent set up so that she was able to change out of her clothes and into her beach wear. she returned from the tent, handing off her clothes to one of the interns running around. she took her horse back and led him off to where the trailer was waiting for him, tying him up to one of the hooks. she was quick with brushing her horse down, not wanting to waste any beach time before it started to get dark. twenty minutes passed before she finally finished and led him into the trailer, planting a kiss on his nose before exiting the trailer and closing the door up behind him. jaimie was quiet as she watched one of her best friends jump into the truck, pulling away from the beach with her precious cargo in the back. she waved to her little brother in the passenger seat, scared more for him than anyone else. she had a strange relationship with him. most people that came into contact with jaimie knew she was basically, a bitch. she didn't like to deal with people. however, her special-needs younger brother lit up her life. it wasn't something jaimie like to announce, but when people saw her with her brother, it came as a shock that she was capable of having a heart. she sighed and gathered her bag from the ground, tossing her flip flops into the bag before dragging herself towards the water. she watched as people made their way to their cars, starting to leave the beach. this was the best time to be at the beach, seeing as not a lot of people liked to stay when it started to grow darker, but this was when jaimie found the most peace. the girl pulled her dark, wavy hair into a messy bun on the top of her head, securing it with a black hair tie before she moved closer to the water, her camera around her neck. she pulled up the expensive piece of equipment and held it to her eyes, aiming the lens at the water's edge. she snapped several photos of the water itself before turning and taking photos of the scenery around her. she caught a couple kissing in the water and several aquatic-loving birds meandering about the shoreline. she laughed as a child chased a seagull across the sand and she captured the moment on her camera, flipping a switch so she could see the results of her photograph. she was content with her work before she made her way back to her bag, setting the camera inside its bag and tucking it beneath all her clothes so no one would steal her belongings. finally satisfied, she made her way back to the water's edge and buried her toes in the sand, enjoying the warmth for only a moment before the freezing, cold water engulfed her legs. she sighed with content, settling her hands on her hips as she waded a little deeper. several screams reached her ears and she looked up to see a group of girls surrounding a few boys and her only guess was that it was some band just trying to enjoy the water. she smirked and ignored it, shaking her head. jaimie had never dreamed that she would be where she was today, photographing bands at events and concerts, but what she loved even more was the fact that she met so many talented musicians that she had become friends with, though some she wouldn't care to admit to actually liking. like eli. secretly, she liked the guy a lot and found him intriguing. would she admit it? no. that was just jaimie. she didn't care to show a whole lot of emotions for people because it just seemed like too much of a gamble. she liked being unknown and behind the scenes, though that became a problem with her slow move towards fame with her modeling career becoming more prominent. more people recognized her face, though she hid pretty well. she looked back up at the crowd, trying to figure out who they were surrounding, but there were so many girls in jaimie's line of view, she couldn't make out who it was. this is 876 words for sienna <3. also, this sucks!. |
